SafeNet Trusted Access for Lucidchart
Configuring SafeNet Trusted Access for Lucidchart is a three-step process:
2.SafeNet Trusted Access setup
As a prerequisite, download the Identity Provider metadata from the SafeNet Trusted Access console by clicking on the Download metadata file button. You will need this metadata in one of the steps below.
Perform the following steps to configure SafeNet Trusted Access as your Identity Provider in Lucidchart:
1.Log in to Lucidchart as an administrator using the https://www.lucidchart.com/users/login URL.
2.On the Lucidchart administrator dashboard, click the TEAM tab.
3.Click App Integration.
a.Select Enable SAML Integration.
b.In the Domain field, enter a domain name (for example, safenet).
c.Click Save changes.
6.Under Identity Providers, click Add Identity Provider.
7.On the Add Identity Provider window, perform the following steps:
a.In the Identity Provider Name field, enter a name for the identity provider (for example, SafeNetIDP).
b.Open the Identity Provider metadata that you download earlier from the SafeNet Trusted Access console in Notepad, and then copy the entire metadata.
c.Paste the metadata in the text box.
d.Click Add Provider.
8.Ensure that the identity provider is added.
After completing the first step of configuring SafeNet Trusted Access in Lucidchart, the second step is to activate the Lucidchart application in SafeNet Trusted Access by performing the following steps:
1.In the Applications pane, you will notice that the Lucidchart application that you added previously is currently in inactive state by default. To configure and activate this application, click the application (for example, Lucidchart) and proceed to the next step.
2.Under STA Setup, click Upload Lucidchart Metadata.
3.On the Metadata upload window, click Browse to search and select the Lucidchart metadata that you downloaded earlier in step 9 of Lucidchart Setup.
Under Account Details, the service provider's metadata information is displayed.
4.Click Save Configuration to save the details and activate the Lucidchart application in SafeNet Trusted Access.
Navigate to the Lucidchart URL, https://www.lucidchart.com/saml/sso/<Domain Name>, where, <Domain Name> is the domain name that you entered in step 5 (b) of Lucidchart Setup. You will be redirected to the SafeNet Trusted Access sign-in page. Enter your primary directory login information, approve the two-factor authentication, and you should be redirected to the Lucidchart support portal after authentication.
Navigate to the User Portal URL to log in to the STA User Portal dashboard. On the dashboard, you will see a list of applications to which you have access. Click on the Lucidchart application icon, you should be redirected to the Lucidchart support portal after authentication.
