SafeNet Trusted Access for LiquidPlanner
Configuring SafeNet Trusted Access for LiquidPlanner is a three-step process:
2.SafeNet Trusted Access setup
As a prerequisite, download the Identity Provider signing certificate from the SafeNet Trusted Access console by clicking the Download X.509 certificate button. You will need this certificate in one of the steps below.
Perform the following steps to configure SafeNet Trusted Access as your Identity Provider in LiquidPlanner:
1.Log in to LiquidPlanner as an administrator using the https://app.liquidplanner.com/login URL.
2.In the top-right pane, click the user name icon and click Settings.
3.In the left pane, under Workspace Settings, click Single Sign On Configuration.
a.Under SAML Identity Provider Certificate, click Choose File to search and select the identity provider signing certificate that you downloaded earlier from the STA console.
b.In the REMOTE Login URL field, enter the SINGLESIGNONSERVICE URL that is provided on the SafeNet Trusted Access console.
You can copy this URL by clicking the Copy to Clipboard icon available next to the SINGLESIGNONSERVICE field.
c.Under Service Provider Details, click on the metadata URL link, the LiquidPlannermetadata will be displayed in a browser, save it on your local machine with the .xml extension (for example, metadata.xml)
Note: You can also download the LiquidPlanner metedata using the https://app.liquidplanner.com/<subdomain>/sso/saml/metadata URL.
5.Configure LiquidPlanner in SafeNet Trusted Access. Refer to SafeNet Trusted Access Setup.
6.On the Test URL tab, click Test Login.
7.In a browser, you will be redirected to the SafeNet Trusted Access sign-in page. Enter your primary directory login information and approve the two-factor authentication. A success message is displayed.
8.Click the Enable SSO tab, and select the Yes option. You will be redirected to the Member Setup tab.
10.On the Member Setup tab, perform the following steps:
a.Under Enable SSO for All Members, select the option based on your preferred configuration.
b.Under Enable SSO for All New Members by Default, select the option based on your preferred configuration.
c.Under Change SSO Requirement for Individual Members, under SSO Disabled, select a user form the list (search the user if not present in the list) and click >> to move the user to the SSO Enabled list and vice versa.
After completing the first step of configuring SafeNet Trusted Access in LiquidPlanner, the second step is to activate the LiquidPlanner application in SafeNet Trusted Access by performing the following steps:
1.In the Applications pane, the LiquidPlanner application you added earlier is in the inactive state by default. To configure and activate this application, click the application (for example, LiquidPlanner) and proceed to the next step.
2.Under STA Setup, click Upload LiquidPlanner Metadata.
3.On the metadata upload window, click Browse and select the LiquidPlanner metadata that you downloaded in step 4(c) of the LiquidPlanner Setup.
The service provider metadata is displayed in the Account Details section.
4.Click Save Configuration to save the details and activate the LiquidPlanner application in SafeNet Trusted Access.
Navigate to the LiquidPlanner login URL, https://app.liquidplanner.com/login. Enter the email address and click Sign in.
You will be redirected to your SafeNet Trusted Access sign-in page. Enter your primary directory login information, approve the two-factor authentication, and you should be redirected to the LiquidPlanner application after authentication.
Navigate to the User Portal URL to log in to the STA User Portal dashboard. On the dashboard, you will see a list of applications to which you have access. Click the LiquidPlanner application icon. You should be successfully logged in to the LiquidPlanner application after authentication.
