SafeNet Trusted Access for GoToMeeting

Overview

Configuring SafeNet Trusted Access for GoToMeeting is a three-step process:

1.GoToMeeting setup

2.SafeNet Trusted Access setup

3.Verify Authentication

GoToMeeting Setup

As a prerequisite, download the Identity Provider metadata from the SafeNet Trusted Access console by clicking the Download Metadata file button.

You will need this metadata in one of the steps below.

Perform the following steps to configure SafeNet Trusted Access as your Identity Provider in GoToMeeting:

1.Log in to the LogMeIn Organization Center as an administrator using the https://organization.logmeininc.com URL.

2.On the LogMeIn Organization Center administrator console, click the Identity provider tab, and then perform the following steps:

a.In the How would you like to configure your SAML IDP? field, select Upload SAML metadata file.

b.Under Metadata file, click Upload metadata file to import the metadata you download earlier from the SafeNet Trusted Access console.

c.Click Save.

After saving the identity provider (IdP) metadata, the SafeNet Trusted Access information is displayed in the fields.

Obtaining GoToMeeting Metadata

Perform the following steps to download the GoToMeeting metadata:

1.In a web browser, open the following URL:

https://authentication.logmeininc.com/saml/sp

2.The GoToMeeting metadata will be downloaded automatically. Save it on your local machine.

SafeNet Trusted Access Setup

After completing the first step of configuring SafeNet Trusted Access in GoToMeeting, the second step is to activate the GoToMeeting application in SafeNet Trusted Access by performing the following steps:

1.In the Applications pane, you will notice that the GoToMeeting application that you added previously is currently in inactive state by default. To configure and activate this application, click the application (for example, GoToMeeting) and proceed to the next step.

2.Under STA Setup, click Upload GoToMeeting Metadata.

3.On the Metadata upload window, click Browse to search and select the GoToMeeting metadata that you downloaded earlier in Obtaining GoToMeeting Metadata.

4.Under Account Details, the service provider’s metadata information is displayed. Click Save Configuration to save the details and activate the GoToMeeting application in SafeNet Trusted Access.

Verify Authentication

Using STA Console

Navigate to the GoToMeeting login URL, https://global.gotomeeting.com. On the GoToMeeting login window, click My Company ID, enter your registered email address, and then click Continue. You will be redirected to your SafeNet Trusted Access sign-in page. Enter your primary directory login information, approve the two-factor authentication, and you should be redirected to the GoToMeeting application.

Using STA User Portal

Navigate to the User Portal URL to log in to the STA User Portal dashboard. On the dashboard, you will see a list of applications to which you have access. Click the GoToMeeting application icon, and you should be redirected to the GoToMeeting application after authentication.
